Relation: Rituals are a strong base on which cultures are built.
Description: DeMolay is a youth group which is based off the Masons. In DeMolay there was a very specific ritual that was carried out every meeting. Every thing we did was very specific from the way we walked to the speeches/prayers we said.
Commentary: Every thing we thing we did had deeper meaning to it from the number of candles and how they were placed to the way the chapter room was set up. It is all based off the Freemason from England. Many of the founding father of our nation were Freemason you can say that our nation was founded off the Freemasons beliefs.
I had never heard of DeMolay before this post. I did some Wikipedia-ing, and it's quite fascinating. I'm curious, did you like being a member of the organization? I've never met anyone involved in a society like that before.
